Translation into Modern English

The root system is the likeness of the Polypus Monster, the legendary sea monster with many legs, as ocean and wind streams do. The Polypus Monster in the VM is a layout of an island in the Azores that has since exploded from a volcano eruption and the possible cause of the Little Ice Age in Europe. The Red Island in the picture to the right is indicative of the root system in the Voynich.
